ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Monica Mitry and I am the owner of Counselling Blossom Service. I am a counsellor, social worker, and clinical counselling supervisor. I use a high level of micro skills and interpersonal skills, combined with industry knowledge, to deliver applications of theoretical frameworks and evidence based interventions. My approach is person-centred, socially-inclusive, trauma-informed and solution focused.
I have performed comprehensive assessments and planned treatment strategies for clients with complex and co-morbid issues. I can work with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly and am quite adaptable in approaches used, apt to the client and nature of the organization I am representing.
I have over 15 years experience counselling and have completed my Masters in Social Work, specializing in grief and loss.
I am currently offering services in the private practice space, under the NDIS and in the EAP space.
